01. data_collection

Transparent data collection is central to our "nerdy" engineering ethos. We collect only what is necessary to provide you with a secure and personalized experience.

  • Account Information: We store your username, display_name, and a secure bcrypt hash of your password. We never store plain-text passwords.
  • Network Data: Every interaction with our platform logs your IP address (sourced from Cloudflare headers) to ensure network security and prevent malicious abuse.
  • Activity Logs: We keep a chronological record of events, including successful logins, logouts, and specific blog posts you've viewed. This helps us optimize content flow.

02. data_usage_and_storage

Your data is hosted within Cloudflare D1 databases and served via the global Cloudflare Edge network.

  • Authentication: We use cryptographic session cookies (JWT / Jose) to maintain your login status securely.
  • Moderation: Logs are visible to administrators for the sole purpose of identifying and banning malicious actors.
  • Performance: Aggregated interaction data helps us refine our "nerdy" UI and optimize page delivery.

03. security_mechanisms

We take security seriously. Our implementation includes:

  • - HTTPS encryption for all traffic.
  • - Hashed password verification (Bcrypt-TS).
  • - Role-based access control (RBAC) enforced at the Edge.
  • - Periodic internal database health diagnostics.

04. your_rights

As a user of this platform, you have the right to update your profile information or request account deletion through our administrative team. If you have questions about your data, feel free to contact the administrator.
